On February 28th, The Reading Room celebrated it's second birthday!

An Independent reference library, the mission of The Reading Room is to make Black visual culture readily accessible and to increase literacy in our community in Houston.

Programs include artist talks, film screenings, and interactive workshops which are all designed to create a deeper connection to the library's ever growing collection of over 700 books.

We cannot express our gratitude enough to our supporters and our community. Thank you for your support and Cheers to the future!
