On Saturday June 15th, the public was welcomed into Sanman Studios for the opportunity to meet with current artists-in-residence Chayse Sampy and Morgan Newton, for an open studio visit.

During this time, visitors were welcome to explore the workspace of the artists and also have conversations with them about their artwork, the inspirations behind their work, and ask about their creative processes for their pieces.

As members of the See a Need, Meet a Need Artist Residency Program, Morgan and Chase are provided with the tools and studio space needed to produce and promote their work. They are also encouraged to collaborate with each other over the course of their residency and learn from working within a shared environment.
